ABOUT ABOUT

Dying 2 Meet U is a dark comedic take on today’s obsession with reality television. By combining recognizable cinematic motifs found in some classic horror films, and injecting it with “in-yourface” spoof driven comedy, the film delivers 100 minutes of pure politically incorrect entertainment.

After a terrible accident leaves Goldman (John Riddlebaugh) scarred for life, he spends the next eight years as a recluse living vicariously through reality TV. He's reached the point where he can no longer stand the loneliness. His wealthy parents – the Burnetts (Rick Montgomery Jr and Beverly Kristy) come up with the idea of producing a fake reality dating show so that Goldman can pick his wife. Nine women fly to France looking for love and adventure. They all come from very different backgrounds and display various levels of “intellect”: Roxy (Alex Russo) is a “bi-curious”
psychology student, Lynette (Kristina Michelle) is a nurse, Frannie (Alicia Goodlin) comes from adult entertainment biz, Amber (Devin Steiner) just wants “that money”, Tatyana (Diana Gumarova) “must marry this guy to stay in America”, Rochelle (Lisa Robins) doesn’t care “if he likes her black ass or not”, Melissa (Antonia Villalon) is slightly confused southern girl, Tia (Alicia Alexandria) wants to catch some modeling opportunities, and Janet (Cecilia Tolbert) almost “feels his baby growing inside her”!

Their every move and conversation is secretly viewed by Goldman, in his parents’ large French country house - via hidden home video system. As private information about their lives is revealed, Goldman narrows down his choice for a wife. One by one, the “bachelorettes” face the ultimate elimination. But, at the end, only two of them will reach the “finals” for – what will become “the most dramatic reality show in television history!”. Through its “steroid-injected-B-movie” mise-en-scene, Dying 2 Meet U pays tribute to classic horror, filled with dark humor, and spiced up with Kubrickian visual elements and motifs, and some memorable performances by less known stars of indie cinema, including several “first-timers” on the big screen.
